Helle Viking 4.25" Knife - Carbon Steel

The Viking knife is Helle's re-creation of a traditional Viking knife, based on designs dating back 1000 years. It features a thick three layer carbon steel blade with the black finish left on from the final heat treatment. The curly birch wood handle is not contoured, but tapered and gives the handle a distinctive feel, and is easy to use for lots of hand types. Generally, we do not recommend this knife for beginners for the lack of a finger guard, but in the hands of an experienced user, its certainly a powerful tool.
