Morakniv

Morakniv knives are absolutely the best value for outdoors and craft knives available. Morakniv knives are made in Sweden, and they are 100% utilitarian, with outdoor enthusiasts, craftpeople and workers in mind as their main customer base. Their knives are made with high quality Swedish steel and are often available in both carbon and stainless options. We find that the carbon steel has a slightly longer lived edge, but both are fairly easy to sharpen. Most models have a Scandinavian grind, often called a 'Scandi Grind" in the knife world. They have a wide, flat bevel on both sides, and are designed to be sharpened flat on that bevel, producing a thin edge without much guesswork as to what angle is needed.
