Shapton Pro 2000 Ceramic Whetstone

The Shapton Pro 2000 stone is a hard, fast cutting stone that works well with wear resistant stainless steels. It cuts coarser than most 2000 stones, and is a good choice for a consistent pre-polishing stone. We especially love this stone to flatten the 'ura' (concave) side of a single bevel knife without removing too much metal. Also makes a great finishing stone for softer steels.

Does not require soaking, simply splash with water and go.
