Imanishi Arashiyama #1000 - Medium Whetstone

One of our favorite medium grit sharpening stones that works on a wide variety of steel types, hardness' and bevel styles. It is made with a mixture of natural and synthetic grits, cutting a little quicker with a slurry, and a little finer with just water. Good for general touch ups on Japanese knives before a finer stone, or use it as a final stone for Western knives for a toothy finish.
