Tsuboman Atoma Diamond Plate

These Atoma Diamond Plates are great for flattening your whetstones, as well as sharpening tools and knives. They are especially useful when sharpening more modern super hard and wear resistant steels. Also great when you need a dead flat wide surface, like a chisel, as they don't wear down with lots of use. We think Tsuboman Atoma diamond stones are some of the best quality diamond abrasives on the market.

Extra Coarse #140 - great for flattening your whetstones. They can also be used in place of a very coarse stone for chip removal or heavy re-shaping. Leaves very deep scratches and a rough burr, always important to follow up with medium and fine stones.

Coarse #400 - great for flattening fine whetstones. Also good as coarse stone for quick metal removal.

Medium #600 - good for touching up chisels and wood tools and for any bevels that are meant to be dead flat. Leaves slightly deeper scratches than most #600 whetstones.

Fine #1200 - Fine Atoma plate is a good tool for touching up chisels and wood tools and for any bevels that are meant to be dead flat. Leaves slightly deeper scratches than most #1200 whetstones.
