A few folding knives I'm loving right now
Share
I'm a big pocket knife fan. I'm not a collector per se, but I do have a nice little group of folders that I use and carry for different uses and occasions. I'm constantly having to hold back on taking new folding knives home though. Here are a few that I've been really digging.
But first, a reminder that we are out of the shop from Oct 10-16, for a little family trip. All orders placed in that time period will ship out when we get back. There is a little shop-wide discount added for orders placed during that period to appease the wait. Thanks for your patience...
Now to the folders!

Benchmade 533 Mini Bugout - Orange Grivory - $175.00
The Benchmade Bugout series has become a modern classic, an extremely well designed ultra-light folder, that is no frills and all utility. Its crazy I've never owned one, but this mini version in bright orange has been calling my name recently.

Helle Bleja 3.5" Folding Knife - $244.00
I have absolutely no use for this particular knife in my daily life, but it is one of the coolest folders in the shop. It feels to me like the Norwegian version of a Buck 110, basically a fixed blade sized folder, that can pack a serious amount of utility into something a bit more compact. Just like the 110, its got a sturdy lockback mechanism and comes with a leather belt sheath. Different though in that it has thicker blade stock and a the Scandinavian style grind that excels at whittling and detail carving, and all sorts of bushcraft and camping tasks.

Spyderco NAND Slipit Titanium C270TIP - $256.50
I lied, this is actually the coolest folder in the shop.
Designed by Paul Alexander for Spyderco, and made in Italy, this thing is unique, usable and a little weird! In the closed position, the “tail” of the blade extends from the pivot-pin end of the handle, allowing the knife to be opened one handed. Once open, twin ball bearing detents within the titanium handle’s frame index the sides of the blade to hold it in place.

QSP Parrot V2 Red Micarta - $31.95
Probably one of the best deals on a folding knife around, the QSP Parrot is just fun! I love the grippy natural feel of the micarta, and the basic functional design isn't too flashy or tactical feeling. I own and love the bigger brother to this knife, the QSP Penguin, but I could see adding this one to the arsenal for sure.

Victorinox Swiss Army Knife - Electrician Alox - $58.00
I've always been a fan of Victorinox. Extremely high quality stuff for a great price, you really can't go wrong with Swiss engineering. I've got 3 or 4 of them already, so I probably don't need to add this to my collection, but I've never had one with the Alox scales, and as far as I know, this is the only model they make with the short electrician's blade, which strikes me as incredibly useful.
