Benchmade Knife Co. was originally founded by Les de Asis as 'Bali-song' in 1979, and evolved into one of the leading folding and fixed blade knife manufacturers in the U.S. Based in Oregon City, OR, they employ over 300 people and produce over a million knives per year, and continue to design and innovate knives for everyday, outdoor, hunting and tactical uses.
