Kei Kobayashi is based in Seki City, a knife production center mostly known for mass production. He decided to step away from factory work and to perfect his craft as a sharpener in a workshop setting. His knives are extremely thin and sharp out of the box, with expert level convex grinds and superb finish polishing, some of the best cutting knives we know of.
