A muddy polishing stone with a mix of natural and man-made abrasives. This stone will leave polished, yet slightly toothy edge. It is our favorite stone for most Japanese double bevel knives, especially VG10 and Aogami steels. It is mounted on a rot resistant wooden dai and includes nagura conditioning stone. Use the nagura stone before use to speed up the polishing process, and after flattening with a more aggressive stone to remove any deeper grooves in the stone.
