Designed by Bay Area legend, Chef Bruce Hill, The Chef's press is a vented and weight adjustable tool to create the perfect sear on all sorts of foods, and allowing for foods to cook 20-30% faster. They stack together for more or less weight or for more surface area. Made from a solid piece of stainless steel. Made in Oakland, California.
This 18 oz. food press is perfect items needing extra weight and surface area, like a steak or chop. They are easy to stack together as well for items needing more weight! Measures 5" x 6 1/2"

These work great, they weigh a bit more than the 13 oz ones, it’s good for slightly bigger cuts of meat or to support the other smaller weights allow the food you are cooking to get better contact with the hot surface of the pan, they allowed me to get a great sear on larger quantities of food much quicker
