In Dan's Words: I regularly make this knife style to take to Shows. It has a mosaic damascus blade with 15N20 and W2 steel. The W2 adds a bit more edge holding to the blade since it contains 1.05 carbon and a small percentage of vanadium to the mix. Fittings are 303 stainless steel. Black vitreous enamel base with a sprinkling of almost pure silver grains. The stag handle was imported decades ago and I bought it in the late 90s. Sheath is wood lined with a leather wrap (I bought these hides that were originally destined to be used by a major football company. The leather is 6 oz and tough/durable.
