The Spika Hunting and Forest axe features a curved 17.5″ American hickory handle paired with a 1.5 lb. axe head, the same head on the Akka model, but with a shorter handle for more compact packability. The straight flat-ground edge and finger notch near the neck make carving and whittling tasks a joy, and it is equally at home chopping firewood and other campsite tasks. The cutting edge is approximately 3.125-inches in length.
