An awesome honing rod for kitchen knives, especially double bevel Japanese knives! Made of high alumina ceramic that is equivalent to a 1500-2000 grit whetstone. Handle is black painted wood and includes a ring for hanging. Clean gently from time to time with warm soapy water and a light abrasive.
