The Opinel Neo7 Alpine has the same ergonomics as the classic version, with a bunch of updated features suited for backpacking and climbing. Utilizing the new Opiflex locking system, it also features a serrated stainless steel blade with a thick dulled robust tip that protrudes when closed allowing to hinge open with one hand and provides extra safety in rescue situations. The handle is moisture and temperature resistant and has cork integrated for extra grip. A rescue whistle and bit holder are integrated into the handle.
