The Otter company dates back to the mid 1800’s, when it was based in a ‘Kotten’, a traditional water-powered grinding shop on the banks of the rivers in Solingen, Germany. The company continues to manufacture knives with the pride of tradition, each blade is ground, sharpened and assembled by hand in Solingen.
