These iron cooking sheets are great for plancha style cooking on an outdoor fire or grill or in an oven. 

Materials: Iron

Care: Treat like your common cast iron pan. Keep dry and oiled when not in use to avoid rust. Season with natural, neutral oils. Sheets can warp on high heat or on deck ovens, but we find that they flatten back out when cooling down. Best to use with indirect heat under 400 degrees.

*Caution, edges may be sharp!

Pallares is a third generation family run company in Solsona, Spain. Started in the early 20th century in what was then a center of knife-making, they are now the last of the traditional companies in Solsona still producing cutlery.

Pallares iron cooking sheet is a welcome addition

I bought it because I’m trying to get away from aluminum, and because I like Pallares’s other workmanlike products. After sanding off the burrs and seasoning it (I did 425 for 1 hour with avocado oil), I love it. I just used it for the first time to roast some peppers, and it cleaned up nicely, even though it was the first use. I’m sure that will get even better the more I use it. Great product, and as always great service from Uptown cutlery.
