Pallares Scythe Stone - Coarse Green

An oval shaped stone great for sharpening and maintaining the edges of scythes, billhooks as well as shovels, axes and other hand and garden tools. The shape allows for maintaining different types of edges from convex to hollow grinds. Use by hand like a file. 

This is a carborundum abrasive (silicon carbide) coarse grit for removing more metal and shaping. Use with water for best results.
