Takeshi Saji SG2 Damascus 130mm Petty Ironwood

This knife has a SG2 (R2) steel core with an etched damascus cladding. SG2 is a stainless powder steel boasting high hardness making for excellent edge retention. This knife has a workhorse feel thanks to its full tang western style handle and robust convex grind.

Takeshi Saji is a 3rd generation master blacksmith making knives in Echizen, Japan. He combines modern design with traditional blacksmithing techniques; his knives are true works of art.

**Dry thoroughly after use. Left wet, stainless steel can dull quickly and develop pits in the edge. 

**To avoid chipping, keep away from bones, frozen foods or other hard foods and pits.
