Tosa Tsukasa 165mm Bunka - Shirogami 1

Forged in Tosa, Japan. These rustic handmade knives are a great starting point for anyone wanting to get into sharpening and maintaining their own knives on whetstones. Out of the box, they have 'workhorse' style grinds. They are forged with top quality Hitachi made Shirogami #1 (White Steel #1), which is a pure carbon steel with a high carbon content, making for an easy to sharpen knife that has great edge life too. They are fitted with octagon shaped oak wood handles.
