A beautiful series from Tsunehisa, featuring a combination of the elegant damascus and a rustic hammered nashiji finish. The blades have a core steel of 440C, a stainless tool steel with with good durability and edge formation.
They are fitted with lightly charred one piece octagon oak wood handles. The charring process (Baikoku) improves the woods water resistance and durability.
Boxed. Made in Japan.
**Dry thoroughly after use. Left wet, stainless steel can dull quickly and develop pits in the edge.
**To avoid chipping, keep away from bones, frozen foods or other hard foods and pits.
