These knives feature a Swedish stainless steel core.. The damascus cladding has a unique combination of hammermarks (tsuchime) and a rustic pearskin finish (nashiji). Handled with magnolia wood and buffalo horn.
Boxed. Made in Japan.
**Dry thoroughly after use. Left wet stainless steel can develop rust and pitting
**To avoid chipping, keep away from bones, frozen foods or other hard foods and pits.

I picked up one of these a few months ago. It is very nimble… fast and light, great at push/pull, with enough curve for moderate “rocking.” I haven’t quite got the hang of sharpening the Swedish stainless, but that’s on me. Good edge retention. I think if it were high carbon clad in stainless, it would be nearly perfect.
The Swedish steel and japanese craftsmanship is amazing!
