Pallares Ripolles Folding Knife - Carbon Steel

A rustic Spanish folder with a yatagan style blade. The blades on these are thin and easy to keep sharp, and can handle a variety of cutting tasks. The slip-joint keeps the blade firmly in place when in use, and has a half-stop, making it easy to open and close. We especially love this model as a folding picnic and cheese plate knife, or as a steak knife!

**Extra care is required with carbon steel. No soaking or dishwashers! Dry well in between uses to avoid rust. Blade will develop a patina (discoloration) with normal use.

Pallares is a third generation family run company in Solsona, Spain. Started in the early 20th century in what was then a center of knife-making, they are now the last of the traditional companies in Solsona still producing knives.
