These knives feature a Ginsan-ko (Silver #3) stainless steel core. Ginsan is prized for its sharpenability and toughness. The blades have a nashiji (pearskin) textured finish on the cladding, full tang and are handled with a western style purple pakka wood handle.
Boxed. Made in Japan.
**Dry thoroughly after use. Left wet, stainless steel can dull quickly and develop pits in the edge.
**To avoid chipping, keep away from bones, frozen foods or other hard foods and pits.
